The -n option removes the old configuration and gives you the default
one, which is supposed to work.

I did the comparison and every file seems to be properly configured.
Now I have flashed the router with its default stable 17.06 image with
generic settings from the "Precompiled Binaries" section at
libremesh.org and got the same issue! Every SSID is in "unknown" mode.

Hi,
I had a node working ok with LiMe 16.07. It is a TP-Link WR2543ND.
I tried to upgrade it to LiMe 17.06 using the sysupgrade.bin image from
my network profile on chef.libremesh.org
After restarting it did not publish any SSID. I connected through
Ethernet and I was able to go into luci with my browser (http://anygw/).
In Administration > Network > Wireless I could see the SSID modes were
on "Client"
Then I tried by upgrading it with the factory.bin image.
I had the same results, but this time I see the mode for the three SSIDs
is "Unknown".
- How do I check those things (like interface status) through commands?
- Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot to make this router work with LiMe 17.06? There must be something wrong in the image.
Cheers!

Hi!
I'd like to but I don't speak Esperanto, despite my name.

But that's an OpenWRT image, or is it a LiMe one?

Thank you, I will try it.

Has anyone managed to get a router with at least 3 gigabit ethernet ports
to perform services like redundancy or load balancing using the multiwan
packet? I'd be interested in hearing your experience and a recommendation
of what to buy, and how to configure the ports. Guido (busy sailing these
days) told me that the hard part is configuring the ports, and that each
configuration is hardware-specific...
Has anyone tried with the tplink wr1043n? It's the cheapest gigabit machine
i have been able to find....
