Hi, congratulations for this new tool, and your great support.
I’m doing first steps with libre-mesh firmware.
I flashed a WR841nd with dev binary corresponding to that router.
I can connect to router through switch ports and i receive IP but when i
connect through wifi, my connection is kicked.
Here I send Log details of syslog in lime node web interface:

notebooks and my cellphone and no luck. My ip is assigned and seconds later
wifi disconnects.
I tried also reflashing firmware and same issue.
How can i proceed?

we made quite a mess with versions while we're preparing a proper
release, so:

I Also tried with a bullet m2 with this image:
Bullet-LiMe______-factory-20140913_1326
both with same result.
Last night about 3AM (i was trying to make it work), i found Up in LOG (i
have not access now because i’m outside) mention something about wrong MTU
in eth0-154 and wifiadhoc0-154 or something like that i need to increase
MTU from 1368 to 1532.
Hope this helps.

There is some problem in the downloads server, it looks like the compilations are not
correct. I'll check it.

The alternative is to compile it yourself using lime-build or using a raw openwrt
buildroot :)
I've compiled new images, you can try them. I don't know the current status of
14.08, Gui should know it better.
The branch hardware-detection (which is compiling right now) should work fine.
@Devs, we must merge all these branches in a single one!

I will try right now.
I Sept 13 compilation i found that if i shutdown wifi with physical button
of WR841ND and start again, appears libremesh network and Lime network
(before libremesh was not there) and i’m not kicked from wifi.
So to be clear i will describe what i do and results:
1) flashed
2) connect with cable to lan and successfully receive IP
3) Connect another device from wifi and i receive IP but i’m disconnected
about 20 seconds.
Log mention something about MTU i tried to change but still error there.
If i shutdown wifi on router with wifi on/off button and start wifi again.
In my wifi networks appears libremesh (before was not there) and i can
connect without kick.

The alternative is to compile it yourself using
lime-build or using a raw
openwrt buildroot :)
I've compiled new images, you can try them. I don't know the current
status of 14.08, Gui should know it better.
The branch hardware-detection (which is compiling right now) should work
fine.

I tried with your new firmware upload but same issue, libremesh not appear
at boot, i need to shutdown and start wifi with physical button and i can
connect to wifi LiMe without being kicked.
For testing purposes i will use firmware as is.
Is any command-line i can use to do the same as wifi on/off with physical
button?
I’m thinking about startup command so can work without intervention.

I will try right now.
I Sept 13 compilation i found that if i shutdown wifi with physical
button of
WR841ND and start again, appears libremesh network and Lime
network (before libremesh was not there) and i’m not kicked from wifi.
So to be clear i will describe what i do and results:
1) flashed
2) connect with cable to lan and successfully receive IP
3) Connect another device from wifi and i receive IP but i’m disconnected
about 20
seconds.
Log mention something about MTU i tried to change but still error there.
If i shutdown wifi on router with wifi on/off button and start wifi again.
In my wifi networks appears libremesh (before was not there) and i can
connect
without kick.

Is any command-line i can use to do the same as wifi on/off with physical
button?
I’m thinking about startup command so can work without intervention.

I will try right now.
I Sept 13 compilation i found that if i shutdown wifi with physical
button of
WR841ND and start again, appears libremesh network and Lime
network (before libremesh was not there) and i’m not kicked from wifi.
So to be clear i will describe what i do and
results:
1) flashed
2) connect with cable to lan and successfully receive IP
3) Connect another device from wifi and i receive IP but i’m disconnected
about 20
seconds.
Log mention something about MTU i tried to change but still error there.
If i shutdown wifi on router with wifi on/off button and start wifi again.
In my wifi networks appears libremesh (before was not there) and i can
connect
without kick.

you can fork off your own profile from that, don't forget to select
"Openwrt revision" = r42398
it's a different branch (the "stable" branch) and i've been
extensively testing the release, ironing out bugs that might be
related to the one you mention, (i found out a race condition with
wifi/netifd which sounds similar)
so it would be nice to see how it works for you

Hi Gui, thank you for your support, finally i installed openwrt base and
batman-adv and i have my mesh working at least for testing purposes, my
routers are not rebooting anymore.
One of the problems i had before, and hope this help someone was that is
the attitude adjustment version installs batman-adv 2012 and for my other
router i needed to install chaos calmer version and that version install
batman-adv 2014 and both versions cannot see each other.
Probably this happened because i’m noob, but when i fixed that everything
was working, please take this in consideration when you cook firmware.
